When I first got into this hobby I had a lilac Resinsoul Ju. (And a white one I still have lol) She was my night elf. I had just gotten into playing world of warcraft and when I stopped for a while I noticed I wasn't really doing much with the doll anymore. I ended up selling her.
I tend to take breaks from the game (with school and all) but I started playing some again in August or so. And it just completely rekindled my love for the Night elves.
Withdoll isn't a company I had been keeping an eye on, because they only made boys. So that's why I'm so happy someone posted a topic about her in the news section.
After checking my finances, and researching the skintones I jumped on her like a rabid dog (pretty much) and got her in rosy brown. The outfit was just too darn sexy to let go so that had to come with as well. And now she's here and I'm sooooo happy with her! I was afraid I wouldn't be because since I ordered her I have been getting more into SD's instead of MSD's. But enough talk, on to the opening!
Box! With two cute "fragile" stickers. I had seen them before and always thought it was a girl with a ponytail or something... But some time ago I found out it's a glass xD I'm such an idiot.
The inner box may look simple (and completely stuck in the outer box by the way) but it's honestly the sturdiest box I've ever received with a doll.
Foam person! (Which I later inserted into the cutout the doll was in :B ) and stuff! So much stuff!
All the stuff! I've never had so much stuff come with a doll. Everything was packed individually, with no openings to nothing would fall out. Not to mention it was double wrapped with bubbles. So couldn't be better!
After much tearing and sighing I finally had opened everything. Also a first glimpse at her skintone at the bottom right!
There she is! *immature* BOOBIES!
Her color is amazing. It's very similar to the old resinsoul lilac (from about three years ago), which is exactly what I hoped for. She's very pleasant to handle. She has a nice weight to her, slightly heavier than a Minifee. She poses really nicely as well. I think I might reshape her nose slightly though. It's a bit too pointy for my taste. But only a teeny bit c:
Here she is with most of her stuff. A quick review on this stuff: It's amazingly crafted. While I love the outfit tho, one of the cups is slightly too small so her nipple keeps popping out (not that I care xD ). The pauldrons are a bit loose, looser than I expected (and actually fit better on a Minifee it seems, lol) but they aren't going anywhere or anything. The sword and shield are great. The shield has straps and press buttons on the back. They are a bit heavy though, so I had a bit of trouble having her put her arms up while using them xD And last, the hip parts are awesome, but they have a sort of hook device so you can slide them on her beltskirt. But they are rather loose, so they slip right off. I might be able to tighten them, but don't want to damage them, so I'll have to think about that.
I'm not sure I'll be using the headgear ( here without antler thingies). It just doesn't do much for me.
Okay, so later I put on her legs (which is really easy because you don't have to fully unstring her) and had some trouble getting one of the feet on. They work with resin hooks and after struggling for 15 min I found there was some resin left under the hook, preventing the elastic from staying there. That was easily fixed though.
Overall I'm very happy with her and I can't wait to give her ears and everything c:
